Therapy for women and couples untangling the patterns that keep them stuck.

In-person in Seattle | Virtual across WA State

Hi, there. I'm glad you're here.

I’m Alex, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate offering therapy for women and couples who want more than insight alone. If you feel stuck in familiar patterns, caught in overthinking, or disconnected in your relationships or sense of self, therapy can be a place to slow things down, notice what’s happening in real time, and create meaningful change.

I bring warmth, curiosity, and honesty to the process. There’s nothing you need to perform here.

I’ll meet you right where you are.

"The healing comes from letting there be room for all of this to happen: room for grief, for relief, for misery, for joy.”

2 / Do you accept insurance?

I don't accept insurance directly. Choosing not to work with insurance allows for more privacy, flexibility, and care that is guided by your needs rather than insurance requirements.

Insurance companies often require a mental health diagnosis, can limit the number or type of sessions covered, and may request access to clinical information. I’m happy to provide a superbill if you’d like to explore possible out-of-network reimbursement through your plan.

3 / Do we need to be in crisis to come to couples therapy?

Not at all. In fact, many couples benefit most when they come before things reach a breaking point. You might care deeply about each other and still feel stuck in the same arguments, distance, or misunderstandings. Therapy can help you shift those patterns early.

4 / Why should we do relational therapy?

You don't have to wait until things are falling apart to come to couples/relational therapy. Many couples & intimate partners seek support because they want to communicate better, feel more connected, navigate conflict differently, or strengthen their relationship before patterns become more painful. Therapy can be a proactive space to build a stronger foundation together.

5 / What if I know my patterns but still can’t change them?

You’re not alone. Insight is valuable, but insight alone doesn't always create change. Sometimes we understand exactly why something happens and still find ourselves repeating it. Therapy can help slow things down, notice what's happening in the moment, and create new patterns that feel possible, sustainable, and aligned.
